Ταύτην τὴν παραγγελίαν παρατίθεμαί σοι, τέκνον Τιμόθεε, κατὰ τὰς προαγούσας ἐπὶ σὲ προφητείας, ἵνα στρατεύῃ ἐν αὐταῖς τὴν καλὴν στρατείαν,
Literal English TranslationThis command I entrust to you, child Timothy, according to the prophecies previously spoken about you, in order that by them you may wage the good warfare.
